Wadebridge Cricket Club runs a successful women's softball section which has recently taken part in indoor winter festivals. This is the first year of running such a group and it currently has 25 players on register of all ages and abilities, looking for a fun social time.
In the summer the section trains every Friday at the cricket club between 6:00 - 7:00pm. The first outdoor session will be 3rd May 2019. There is currently indoor activity happening at Callywith College Bodmin. The next session will be the 1st February 6:00 - 8:00pm, and then run every 3rd week from there until the Summer season. These sessions are active, so please wear shoes and clothing that is appropriate, however, we will not turn you away. |
Allen Valley The Fire Place sponsor the Wadebridge CC Women's Softball Team
Allen Vally The Fire Place have kindly sponsored the Wadebridge CC Women's Softball team (The Black Swans) for the first time. We would like to thank them for their extremely generosity.
Their sponsorship has allowed the Women to be kitted out in the shirts you will see in the imagery as well as take part in Coaching that has been happening at Callywith College on a Friday evening.
Currently, the teams have been taking part in the Cornwall Cricket Board indoor softball festivals, the last one on the 6th January where the A team came second.. Interested come and join in
